Live in The Garden welcomes Hunjiya to the stage. Combining memorable, yet confessional storytelling within the elements of indie-pop, neo-soul, and folk, Hunjiya (huhn-jee-yah) is the musical alias of 20-year old artist Alice Kim.

Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in a small town in upstate New York, the singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist blends her ethereal vocals along with her guitar-based hooks. Her self-produced, self-written debut EP, Lineage, derives from the heart-warming stories of her grandparents’ lives. Combining both Korean and English lyrics, each song was written from the perspective of her grandparents and how they fell in love with one another.
